Released in 2015, this is Psyonix's sequel to Super Sonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle-Cars (Yes that is the name for the old game) that was originally on the PS3. The game can be broken down to essentially Flying Soccar locked to the confines of a car with rockets. That sounds difficult but playing it will make help you understand it a little better. The game at first didnt really have a big community, but over the years as discoveries about the games mechanics and when the players mastered those mechanincs, they drew more and more people to the game. Fun Fact, the game hit its second peak in February of 2026 when Jynxzi started to play the game.
WHAT IS IT THAT I LOVE ABOUT THIS GAME?
This game has the most interesting game mechanics ive ever seen with such a simple concept. Watching professional players or RLCS is so mesmerizing. These mechanics take years to master and it really makes you appreciate the people that are on the top. Even if you wanted to try these moves that you see, some of them could take you weeks or even months to be able to consistently do them in games. The hard part is taking all of these tricks and moves and using them all to your advantage at one time. If you arent patient, you wont be able to do them... which I am not. But I like pretending that I can do them, and even though I can't Diamond level play is still a lot of fun.
FAVORITE CARS
I mainly use the Fennec and Battle Bus. The Fennec is a sleek car and to me it looks the best among all the other cars. The Battle Bus is something I also main because I like the idea of being the best Battle Bus user in the game. I've got almost 1200 wins with the Bus as of Febuary 2026, which is 70% of my total wins with any car.
